Playing and chatting

I am on Radiology right now, which means I am fairly guaranteed to get out by 5 or 6 every day. This is not the way of most rotations, but Radiology is not an in-patient service, which really cuts down on our work. We mainly function as a service to other services (like Surgery or Neurology).
Thus, I was home in time to play outside with Cyrus today. He's teething on top right now, so he's been a little cranky and clingy, but we managed to have some fun anyway.

I like this video because it sounds like he calls me "mama." I'm still not certain he knows it's my name, but I like to imagine. (You can also see him chatting it up with his Uncle Tio at the very beginning).




This video cracks me up, because he's been very clingy and I thought I would just video me carrying him. Instead, he promptly puked all over my shoulder for some unexplained reason. Good thing Uncle Tio was there to help me clean up. It's always an adventure with a baby around.
