So, Cyrus is quite the crawler now, after almost a month of practice. So, he's moving up in the world to start standing every chance he gets. The following videos are good because I think they really tell the distant watcher where he's at these days: 1). loves to crawl, 2). wants to walk, 3). wants to be near his parents almost all the time.
He's totally cool with strangers still, but when we're home as a family, he always wants to be right next to me or Gabriel. The beauty of it for Gabriel is that he was worried that Cyrus would develop a liking for only me (since I'm the mommy and giver of food), but so far he seems to prefer both of us fairly equally. My theory is that G is so involved in his life and childcare, unlike most dads (and I'm not always there with him, like some moms) that daddy gets equal footing as mommy in Cyrus' eyes. How sweet.

Wow! He's growing fast! He's much more skilled now than he was just a few weeks ago. I miss him. :(
Oooooo! He crawls really fast! You're right - he wants both of you at the same time. He's like Calvin who loves nothing better than to be between (but touching) both of us on the couch.
I think I might ask Cyrus if he wants to run a 5k with me next year. Also, quick question: why is Gabe in shorts and a t-shirt and the Lil Zombie is dressed to go skiing?
